Alizz Islamic Bank honours top performing students in Wilayat Al Suwaiq

In a celebration attended by the branch manager of Alizz Islamic Bank’s Suwaiq branch Mr. Abdullah Al Hadhrami, parents, the school principal, and a number of educators and administrators, Alizz Islamic Bank honoured the top perfoming students for the Academic Year 2021/2022 in Thabet Bin Kaab School in Al Batinah North Governorate.

The branch manager of Alizz Islamic Bank in Al Suwaiq also honoured 60 runner-up students who came 11th - 20th in several different classes (i.e 60 students) as part of a new initiative implemented this year. Additionally, Mr. Nabil Al Salhi, supervisor of the Holy Quran competition and top students in that competition at the Wilayat level were also felicitated during this celebration that witnessed a variety of activities.

Guided by the CEO of the bank, Alizz Islamic Bank seeks to support all segments of society by investment in various social initiatives and the bank has allocated budgets in each Wilayat branch to contribute to promoting and supporting social responsibility programs that ensure the optimum benefit of people across Oman, which reflects the bank’s deep belief that growth of individuals and businesses is the key driver of welfare and growth of the community.

In this respect, students commended the role played by Alizz Islamic Bank towards the community, as the bank makes great efforts to fulfill its commitment to social responsibility by providing robust support to institutions that contribute to building strong and cohesive communities. Recently, the bank offered support to a number of events across Governorates and Wilayats of the Sultanate, as part of its commitment to help its customers and the community and to extend its services to anyone seeking a different experience in the Islamic banking sector.

It should be noted that the bank received several awards in recognition of the banking services, products, and programs it offers to the community, which reflects the bank’s understanding of the market needs. Since the launch of its operations in 2013, the bank gave priority to investment in the community, particularly in civil society initiatives, education, youth development, and raising awareness about Islamic Banking as a means of the welfare of the society. In fact, the bank’s efforts are driven by its desire to improve the life of its customers across the Sultanate.
