Shooting championship organised

Nakhal: A shooting championship titled Al Ahd Al Mushriq ‘Shining Era’ was organised at the shooting ground in the Wilayat of Nakhal under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and Oman Traditional Shooting Committee with the participation of shooters from the various governorates of the Sultanate.

The conclusion ceremony was held under the patronage of Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism.  The competitions saw the participation of eighty female shooters among other participants.

On the sidelines of the conclusion of the event, a Heritage Village accommodating traditional craft industries of the various wilayats of South Al Batinah Governorate was organised.
