Doha : The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Foreign Ministry, participated in the twentieth edition of the Doha Forum entitled “Transformation into a New Era” in the Qatari capital Doha on Saturday.
The two-day forum is being held under the patronage of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.
The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman is headed by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister.
In its current edition, the forum focuses on a number of themes, including geopolitical alliances, international relations, the financial system, economic development, defence, cyber security, food security, in addition to sustainability and climate change. A number of leaders, ministers, senior officials and academics from different countries of the world are participating in it.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Foreign Minister held bilateral consultations with a number of heads of participating delegations from brotherly and friendly countries.
