Muscat: Pakistan Day was celebrated in high spirits on 23 March 2022 at Pakistan School Seeb.
It’s a great historic day in the history of Pakistan where Muslims of the subcontinent put forward their demand for an individual nation following their individual identity based on their religion. This day had transformed the struggle of the Muslims’ freedom movement in the subcontinent to the new path.
At PS Seeb, this day is always celebrated with traditional zeal and zest. The event was set up with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the welcome statement of the Principal PSS, Shahid Iqbal. In his address, he highlighted the importance of the day in the history of Pakistan and its connection with Minar-e-Pakistan.
The event saw various traditional cultural activities with the kindergarten students dressed in traditional outfits.
The day’s programme included singing national songs, reciting poems, performing tableaus, special presentations by junior students and delivering speeches on the significance of the day.
The students, teachers and parents gathered at school where they witnessed the colourful and captivating presentation of the activities.
President Iftekhar Ahmed and members of the school management committee (SMC) Seeb Imran Fazal and Waseem Gul were invited to attend the event as the special guests. Students, teachers, and management actively participated in the event.
At the end, in his speech, President SMC Iftekhar Ahmedappreciated the efforts of students, faculty and management to organise the event successfully.
