Health Ministry releases new list of approved vaccines for Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH), has announced a newly updated list for all vaccines approved in the Sultanate of Oman and adopted by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

"The Ministry  of Health has adopted all vaccines that are used in a number of countries and adopted by the regulatory organizations and authorities," MOH said in a statement.

MOH added that the approved vaccines (Two doses at least 14 days apart ) are as follows :

1-AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria , Covishield)

2-Pfizer- BioNTech (Comirnaty) .

3-Moderna (Spikevax or Takeda Japan).

4-Sinopharm (Beijing) (Covilo) .

5-Sinovac (CoronaVac) .

6- Bharat Biotech (Covaxin) .

7-CanSinoBio (Convidecia) .

8- Novavax (Nuvaxovid) (Covovax) .

9-Gamaleya Research Institute
(Sputnik V) .

-  The approved single dose vaccines which are :

1-Johnson & Johnson ( Ad26.COV2.S ) .

2- Sputnik Lite .
