Muscat: The Environment Authority carried out the first campaign to clean up the remains of a sunken ship wreck in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve.
“As part of the Environment Authority’s keenness to preserve the marine environment and protect its wealth to achieve ecological balance, the Environment Department in South Al Batinah Governorate and the General Directorate of Nature Conservation carried out the first campaign to clean up the remains of a sunken ship wreck in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve,” the Authority said.
The campaign was implemented in cooperation with a number of private agencies and civil and voluntary teams.
