One arrested for human trafficking, fraud in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a person  on charges of human trafficking and fraud.

"The Directorate General of Inquiries and Investigations arrested a person of Arab nationality on charges of human trafficking and fraud. The accused published an advertisement for jobs in Arab restaurants in the Sultanate of Oman and attracted 16 people of the same nationality in return for sums of money. They were told upon their arrival that there were no jobs. The legal procedures are being completed against him," ROP said in a statement.
