Muscat: The national hockey team achieved second place in the Asian Hockey Federation Cup after losing the final match against Bangladesh on penalties.
The team achieved second place in the Asian Hockey Federation Cup after losing the final against Bangladesh in the tournament hosted by the Indonesian city of Jakarta between March 11 and 20, Oman News Agency, ONA, said.
The Bangladesh team won the championship title and gold medal, while Oman team won the silver medal and qualified for the Asian Cup, which will be held next May in Jakarta, Indonesia.
