Weather: Oman's governorates witness active winds

Muscat: A number of Sultanate of Oman's governorates are witnessing active winds today, reaching a maximum of 47 knots.

Oman Meteorology said: "Currently the governorates of Dhofar, Al Wusta, and the Dhahirah and Al Dakhiliyah deserts witness northwesterly winds activity."

Some monitoring stations of the Civil Aviation Authority recorded wind speeds of up to

31 knots in kyron hiriti

27 knots in the Qarn Alam

25 knots with active flashes of up to 47 knots in Al Zamaim

23 knots in Fahod
