Red Bull Car Park Drift Is Back in Muscat!

Muscat: The thrilling motorsports event Red Bull Car Park Drift is back to Muscat after 2 long awaited years.  Gathering all drifting enthusiast and pros from Oman, the event is set to take place on the 18th of March 2022, at the Oman Automobile Association. Doors will open at 5:00 pm, event starts at 7:00 pm.

This prestigious motorsport event will be held in partnership with Oman Automobile Association and Dunlop Tires, with Oman FM, Mubashir and Muscat Media Group as the exclusive media partners.

The drift face-off is expected to attract approximately 20 drifters who will put their expert skills to test behind the wheel as they take on a stimulating and exciting obstacle course inspired by the masterful Red Bull Athlete and Drifting Legend; Abdo Feghali, who will also be present on the day to supervise the event and put off a drifting show in the Nissan 350Z.

Abdo Feghali expressed his excitement about the event saying: “I’m super excited to be back in Muscat after 2 years for the Red Bull Car Park Drift Oman Qualifier. Thrilled to be taking the Nissan 350Z for a spin on the track and can’t wait to see what the drifters have got to show us.”

The drifters will be judged based on their skill level, expertise, precision, and their creative approach for them to achieve the highest scores. The higher the score, the closer they become to being crowned Oman’s 2022 King of Drift as well as getting the opportunity to compete in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, representing Oman at the World Final set to be held in November 2022.

The Red Bull Car Park Drift Series has become widely known and represented by thousands of fans and motorsport enthusiasts in Oman and around the world. This, with no doubt, comes with a high standard of safety and security including COVID protocols and respecting social distancing. These precautions will guarantee an entertaining and enjoyable environment for both the contestants and audience.
