Muscat: An agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Oman India Fertiliser Company (OMIFCO) to finance scholarships.
"The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation and the Oman India Fertiliser Company (OMIFCO) sign a cooperation agreement in the field of higher education and scholarships, to finance scholarships," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
Under the agreement, OMIFCO will support the national scholarship programme in the Sultanate by financing a number of scholarships for the bachelor’s level for general education diploma graduates from social security children and low-income families in the governorates of North and South Al Sharqiyah, through the Unified Admission Centre system.
