MSX index ends higher

Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) gained 18.1 points, comprising a rise by 0.43 per cent to close at ‪4,202.09 points, compared to the last session, which stood at ‪‪‪‪‪‪4,183.96 points.

The trading value stood at OMR 6,736,894, comprising an increase of 12.5 per cent, compared to the last session, which stood at OMR5,990,856.

The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went up by 0.155 per cent to reach about OMR22.19 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR731,000, comprising 10.86 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR312,000, comprising 4.63 per cent.

The net non-Omani investment rose by 6.23 per cent to OMR420,000.
