Twitter down for millions of users worldwide

Muscat: Twitter has been unavailable for users for the last hour across the world, both on web and mobile phones, users in Oman said.
"It's down for the last few minutes," Abbad K, a Muscat resident, said.
However, there are media reports that it's a global outage.
Meanwhile, the service status message posted by the micro-blogging site reads that “Some users are currently experiencing problems accessing Twitter. We are aware of the issue and are working towards a resolution.”
When visiting the desktop site, users are greeted with the message, “Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing – we’re going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon.”
On mobile phones, the tweets are not getting refreshed.
Twitter has been experiencing several disruptions over the past few months, with the most recent outage being reported on January 15.
