Students set to return to classrooms

Muscat: Students across the Sultanate of Oman will return to classrooms beginning March 6, 2022 as part of a decision by the Supreme Committee to allow in-person attendance.

The ‘direct education system’ will resume from next Sunday and all educational institutions are permitted to operate at 100 per cent of their capacity. The decision will be applicable to students at all levels of study, the Committee said on Monday.

Precautionary health and safety measures will have to be followed strictly during classes.
