Muscat: Wearing of face masks in outdoor spaces has been made optional in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management (NCEMA) of the United Arab Emirates has announced on Friday that mask-wearing has been made mandatory at public indoor spaces and optional outdoors starting from February 26, 2022.
The practice of physical distancing has been discontinued in economic and tourist sites while mask-wearing in closed places is still mandatory.
