Muscat: A horse from the Royal Cavalry has won second place in the Saudi Cup for purebred Arabian horses, which is one of the most expensive horse races in the world.
In a new achievement for the Sultanate of Oman, the horse 'Soko' of the Royal Cavalry achieved the runner-up position in the Saudi Cup race (Munifa run) for purebred Arabian horses for a distance of 2,100 metres on the grass track in King Abdulaziz Square in Riyadh.
The Al-Manifa Race for Purebred Arabian Horse is one of the most expensive horse races in the world, with the participation of some of the best horse breeds, the most famous jockeys and the most skilled trainers in the world.
