Muscat: Muscat International Book Fair will be inaugurated on Thursday under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said.
"The activities of the 26th Muscat International Book Fair will start tomorrow under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
About 715 publishing houses will participate in the exhibition, including 570 publishing houses directly and 145 through agencies to represent 27 countries. The Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah will be the guest of honour for the exhibition this year.
