International Sculptors Camp inaugurated in Oman

Muscat: The 9th edition of the International Sculptors Camp in the Wilayat of Sohar in the North Al Batinah Governorate was inaugurated on Sunday.

The number of sculptors participating this year reached 22 from the Sultanate of Oman and other countries, and it will continue until February 27.

Oman News Agency (ONA) said: “Today, in the Wilayat of Sohar, in the North Al Batinah Governorate, the International Sculptors Camp was inaugurated in its ninth edition, organised by the Sohar Art team and in partnership with a number of government and private institutions.”

The sculptor Ali Al-Jabri, the general supervisor of the camp, indicated that the number of sculptors participating are from nine countries: Bahrain, UAE, Syria, Tunisia, Egypt, Ecuador, Iran and Nepal, in addition to two sculptors from the Sultanate of Oman.
