Drones to deliver packages in Muscat Governorate

Muscat: A project, to enable drone-based delivery of parcels in Muscat, has been launched in cooperation between the Governorate of Muscat and the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

Muscat Municipality said in a statement: "We hope the signing of the memorandum of understanding will enhance the utilisation of the drone system in the Sultanate of Oman, localise modern technologies for delivery services, and enrich the logistics sector by adding new services that contribute to the integration of supply and supply chains in the Governorate of Muscat."
