Attempt to smuggle large quantities of drugs into Oman foiled

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested four smugglers for attempting to smuggle large quantities of hashish, crystal and opium drugs into the Sultanate of Oman.

According to ROP, the Coast Guard Police Command, in cooperation with the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substance, thwarted the attempt of four Asian infiltrators trying to smuggle large quantities of hashish, crystal and opium on a boat. The legal procedures are being completed against them.
