Rescue teams save two in Oman

Muscat: Rescue teams came to the aid of two people trapped in a Wadi in the town of Dhank, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance has announced.

PACDA said in a statement online: "Teams of the Public Authority of Civil Defence and Ambulances at Al Dhahirah Governorate managed to rescue two people trapped as they tried to cross one of the Dhank valleys, and they are in good health."

"Dear citizen and resident, taking the risk of crossing valleys while running may result in loss of life," the authorities added.
