Over 300 new job opportunities to be available soon: Madayn

Muscat:  More than 300 job vacancies will be created in Samail Industrial City in the coming period, the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), said in a statement.

"Samail Industrial City witnessed dynamic investment activity in 2021 as 19 projects were localised on a total leased area of 122,549 sqm. Over 300 direct job opportunities will be provided by these projects in the coming period," the statement said.

The areas of work of the projects varied between mining industries (metal products, metal pipes, doors and windows, copper tubes for ammunition, firefighting equipment and tools, ductwork, marble and cement),  food (meat products, dairy, poultry, dates), medical and cardboard industries.
