Sohar Port presents port capabilities at Breakbulk Middle East 2022 in Dubai

Muscat: Sohar Port and Freezone joined logistics provider C. Steinweg Oman (CSO), General Cargo Operator Terminal at the port at the Breakbulk Middle East 2022 international trade conference and exhibition in Dubai presenting the port’s shipping and logistics capabilities to companies from across the region.

Breakbulk ME attracts representatives from more than 1,700 companies at every stage of the industrial supply chain from over 70 countries and is one of the few events to make direct contact with prospective new clients.

Sohar Port is one of the fastest-growing port and freezone complexes in the world and has attracted close to $27 billion in investment by serving diverse industries including metals, raw materials, plastics and foodstuffs.

By investing in cutting-edge technology to maximise efficiency, increase throughput and lead the expansion and modernisation of the Sultanate’s global trade capacity and logistics sector, Sohar Port has continued to attract new clients to the freezone and become the gateway for over 70 per cent of products entering Oman.
