Agreements signed to implement developmental projects in Wilayat of Sohar

Muscat: At a cost of more than OMR 12 million, the Governor of North Al Batinah Governorate has signed a number of agreements to implement a number of developmental and service projects in the Wilayat of Sohar.

"His Excellency Sheikh Saif bin Hamyar Al Shehi, Governor of North Al Batinah Governorate, in the presence of Eng. Salim Al Kindi, the Director General of Sohar Municipality, signed today at North Al Batinah Municipality Hall a number of agreements to implement a number of developmental and service projects in the Wilayat of Sohar, at a cost of more than OMR 12 million," Sohar Municipality said in a statement.

The most important projects that will be implemented by Sohar Municipality are as follows:

1 - Completion of the road paving project in mountainous areas (Yanbu - Al-Ard)

 2- Rehabilitation of service roads in Falaj Al Qabail area

 3- Maintenance and rehabilitation of Nozha Road (Phase I)

4- Rehabilitation of the service road in Turaif and in Sohar Bridge .

5. Design and construction of internal roads for industrial and commercial areas

 6- Rehabilitation of the parkings of the commercial area in Al Hambar
