Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has extended until further notice, several guidelines which were issued on 26th December 2021, regarding rules to be followed for passengers travelling to Oman.
The decisions which were about to lapse today, will now still be applicable, and are as follows:
1. Two doses of vaccination will be compulsory for expatriates and foreign nationals aged above 18 years.
2. A negative PCR test certificate, for which the test was conducted less than 72 hours before arrival, will be necessary for all entrants. Exceptions will be allowed for those who book a test on arrival, prior to the extension of the rules and if the arrival date does not exceed 72 hours from the extension.
