Muscat: The administration of Sultan Qaboos University has adopted the distance education system for the next two weeks as a result of the high numbers of Coronavirus infections in the Sultanate of Oman.
Sultan Qaboos University said: “With reference to the developments related to the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and to the data that indicates an increase in the number of infected people in the Sultanate of Oman, and in the interest of the safety and protection of all, the administration of SQU has decided to implement the distance learning system for the next two weeks for all students in all colleges.”
This will be with the exception of postgraduate students and clinical courses that require direct application in the training places in the College of Nursing and the third stage in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences.
