Al Muthla, Earn Trust book easy wins

MUSCAT: Al Muthla Golden got the better of Y Horizon in an E Division T20 Cricket League game at OAC 3 ground in Seeb on Friday. Y Horizon posted 154 for 2 on the board thanks to superb 51 by Naresh Sudhakar and 47 by Jatin Patel. Sajith Chenganassery bowled well, taking 2 for 10.

Al Muthla raced to the target in only 16.4 overs, scoring 160 for 6 thanks to major contributions from Ruwan Rupa (35), Jeason Jacob (34) and Shyam Lekshman (27).

Arif helps Earn Trust win

Arif Hussain’s brilliant 43 off 33 balls helped Earn Trust CT to an exciting 5-wicket win over KCA Deutag in an F Division T20 match at Muscat Municipality ground 3 on Friday.

Chasing 118 to win, Earn Trust surpassed the total in 16 overs thanks to brilliant batting by Arif and Fizan Tufail (26).

Young Karnik Samir’s excellent 103 was the highlight of MCCC Red’s thrilling win over MCCC Blue in a Junior League Under-13 match at Muscat Municipality ground 3.

Sujay bats ISAS to big win

Sujay struck a magnificent 109 not out to pave the way for Indian School Al Seeb’s (ISAS) impressive 104-run victory against Indian School Wadi Kabir. ISAS openers Sujay and Jitendranath (95 not out) powered their side to 228 without loss in 20 overs. ISAS then bowled superbly to restrict ISWK to just 124 for 6 in 20 overs.
