Foreign Minister receives Secretary-General of Arab League

Muscat: Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi received here on Monday Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League.

The two sides exchanged views on a wide range of topics pertaining to the Arab League’s tasks aimed at enhancing joint Arab action. They also touched on joint cooperation in various spheres of mutual interest.

The two sides affirmed the importance of Arab solidarity, as well as means of actively engaging with current ground reality and future aspirations.

The meeting also reviewed a number of regional and international matters of common concern.
