Residential building raided in Oman

Muscat: A residential building has been raided for running a tourist farmhouse without obtaining a license in South Al Batinah Governorate .

“The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism issues a violation against a residential building in the Governorate of South Al Batinah - Wilayat Barka, which is practicing the activity of a tourist farmhouse in violation of Article (12) of the Tourism Law,” the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said in a statement.

"The Ministry calls upon all unlicensed establishments to stop practicing their activity until they obtain the necessary approvals and licenses in order to avoid legal procedures in accordance with the executive regulations of the Tourism Law,” the statement added.
