Sayyid Asa'ad bids farewell to Pakistan ambassador
His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan received K.K. Ahsan Wagan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan received in his office on Sunday K.K. Ahsan Wagan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty.

The ambassador expressed his thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to him during his tour of duty in Oman from His Majesty, the government and the Omani people, which had enabled him to carry out his tasks.

He also expressed his best wishes of good health, happiness and long life to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing the Sultanate of Oman further progress and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

In his turn, HH Sayyid Asa'ad expressed his utmost thanks to the ambassador for the efforts he exerted in serving relations between the two countries, wishing him permanent success, and the people of Pakistan further progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General and the two advisers at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa'ad.
