Muscat: There are chances of isolated rain over some areas of the Sultanate of Oman, with active winds which will lead to a noticeable drop in temperatures, said the Directorate General of Meteorology.
Today's forecast is partly cloudy over the Governorate of Musandam and the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman, which may lead to isolated rain, with active winds blowing over most of the governorates of Oman, leading to dust, low horizontal visibility and a noticeable drop in temperatures.
The Directorate added: "The flow of clouds over the governorates of Musandam and Al Buraimi and parts of North Al Batinah may lead to isolated rain and low clouds formed on the coasts of the Sea of Oman (the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah and Muscat) and on parts of the governorates of North Al Sharqiah, Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, Al Wusta and Dhofar.
