Earthquake recorded in Oman

Muscat: An earthquake of magnitude 2.5 was detected in the Wilayat of Bidbid, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, on Tuesday, The Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said. 

A statement issued online by the EMC said: "An earthquake in the Wilayat of Bidbid with a magnitude of 2.5, at 5.30 am MCT and at a depth of 5 km has been recorded. The earthquake was recorded 46 km away from Muscat."
