Muscat: A person has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), on charges of impersonating policemen and coercive theft.
According to the ROP, the Dhofar Governorate Police Command arrested a citizen on charges of impersonating policemen and coercive theft, after he stopped the victim and forced him to withdraw money from an ATM, and then fled.
By search and investigation, the identity of the accused was identified and he was arrested. The case is still under process
