Weather: Temperature in Oman continues to drop

Muscat: Frost was formed in Jabal Al Akhdar as a result of the continuous decrease in temperature in the Sultanate of Oman.

"Temperature continues to drop in mountainous and desert areas, with frost forming in Jabal Al Akhdar," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.

Saiq station in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate recorded 3.7 degrees Celsius as the lowest temperature among the weather stations in the last 24 hours, followed by Haima station in Al Wusta Governorate with 9.6 degrees Celsius and then Mazyunah station in Dhofar Governorate with 9.9 degrees Celsius.
