MUSCAT: In line with its objectives and continuous support to making women financially independent, Eshraqa, the social development arm of Khimji Ramdas recently distributed sewing machines to three Omani Women's Associations in the wilayats of Amerat, Samail and Alwabi. This is one of the many projects under Qudurat, which is Eshraqa's Omani Women Empowerment Initiative.
For these women, life has changed dramatically after they started a new life engaged in sewing and made themselves self-reliant. The women have also been trained in tailoring techniques at a workshop by the respective Women’s Association.
