CDAA warns people against crossing flooded wadis

Muscat: Due to the continuation of the impact of Al Azm trough on the northern governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has urged people not to risk crossing overflowing wadis.

A statement issued online by CDAA said: "Due to the continuation of the impact of Al Azm trough on the northern governorates of the Sultanate of Oman until next Wednesday, the authority stresses not to risk crossing valleys during their flow. CDAA calls on parents to monitor children and protect them from water puddles that are left by rains in order to preserve the safety of everyone."
