Muscat: 20 people who were caught amid heavy rain were rescued and the search operation for a missing person in the state of Samail found the person dead.

Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority said: "Rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of South Al Batinah managed to rescue two people after they were detained in a valley in the Wilayat of Rustaq, and they are in good health. In the Wilayat of Nakhl, the teams managed to rescue a person after rainwater entered his house, and 14 people were rescued after they were caught up in a wadi in the Wilayat of Nakhl, and they are in good health.

In the Governorate of Muscat, water rescue teams were able to rescue two people after they were detained in a wadi stream in the Rusayl area in the Wilayat of Seeb, and they are in good health.

In Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, CDAA teams received a report about a vehicle drifting in Wadi Surur in the Wilayat of Samail, where one person has been found and search and rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate were on the site to search for the second missing person.
