Action to be taken against employees who fail to show covid 2-dose vaccination certificate

As part of efforts being undertaken by the government to address the impacts of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic the Ministry of Labour is bringing the following points to the attention of all units of the State’s Administrative Apparatus, other public legal entities and the private sector:

Firstly, to ensure that an employee or worker submits a vaccination certificate stating that he/she has taken two doses of any vaccine approved in the Sultanate of Oman or shows a medical report issued by a health institution confirming that the employee is facing a health condition that prohibits him/her from taking the vaccine.

Secondly, not to allow access to a workplace for any employee or worker who fails to submit a Covid-19 vaccination certificate or present medical reportconfirming that the employee is facing a health condition that prohibits him/her from taking the vaccine.
