Muscat: The Ministry of Agricultural and Fisheries Wealth, and Water Resources, has begun construction work to implement two underground recharge dams in the Wilayat of Ibra.
“The Ministry of Agricultural and Fisheries Wealth, and Water Resources begins construction work to implement two underground recharge dams in the Wilayat of Ibra in North Sharqiyah Governorate on Wadi Qafafa. Its length is 122 meters, the height is 24 meters, and the storage capacity is 927 thousand cubic meters of water,” Oman News Agency, ONA, said.
The second dam is on Wadi Al-urayd, with a length of 255 meters, a height of 18.5 meters, and a storage capacity of 702,000 cubic meters of water.
