Earthquake recorded in Southern Iran

Muscat: An earthquake has been monitored in Southern Iran on Monday, the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said.

 EMC said in a statement that an earthquake in Southern Iran with a magnitude of 4.8, at 11.31 am MCT and at a depth of 10 km has been recorded. The earthquake was recorded 162 km away from Khasab.
