Muscat: An Omani Master's student received a top prize from an Australian university for her laboratory expertise, officials announced.
Turkiya Mahmoud Al Balushi, a Master's student in Radiopharmacology at Macquarie University, received the Anchor Resources Excellence in Laboratory Prize at the university.
The prize is awarded to exemplary students, with high achievement in chemical analysis.
Al Balushi said, "I was very happy when I was notified by the college administration that I was singled out among my colleagues in this speciality to receive the award. The award is an incentive for me to continue to do more, and work hard on my degree's requirements to achieve the best results in the future."
