Hotel booked for not following social distancing norms

Muscat: A violation has been issued on saturday against one of the hotels in Muscat for not committing to social distancing norms.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said: “In the context of following up the commitment of hotel and tourist establishments to the precautionary measures to limit the spread of Covid 19, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism issues a violation against a hotel for not applying the principle of social distancing in a hotel.”

“The Ministry alerts all hotel and tourist establishments to the importance of adhering to the precautionary measures to prevent Covid-19 and to avoid legal measures that may amount to the closure of the hotel establishment,” the statement added.
