Wilayat of Al Hamra gets its first tourist vehicles

Muscat: The first tourist vehicles were launched in wilayat of Al Hamra in Al Dakhiliyah governorate.

The carriages will allow tourists to take a half-hour tour to see the archaeological and natural monuments that characterise the Wilayat of Al Hamra.

Engineer Ghaleb bin Ali Al-Abri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamra National Touristic Company (Qimam), explained that the idea of this project comes within the framework of tourism diversity and a new product to satisfy visitors at the Wilayat of Al Hamra.

He added in an interview with the Oman News Agency that the company is currently studying about adding more vehicles and creating an application that enables tourists to book vehicles in advance.
