Omani researcher detects security vulnerability in Apple's IOS

Muscat: A Senior Specialist, Information Security Analyst was able to discover a security vulnerability in Apple's IOS system.

“The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, represented by the National Centre for Information Safety, was able to discover a security vulnerability in Apple's IOS system through researcher Saif bin Hamad Al Hinai, Senior Specialist, Information Security Analyst at the Centre,” Oman News Agency (ONA) said.

The discovered vulnerability is that there is a problem in handling document uploads targeting most Apple mobile devices in all its versions, and the company has addressed this problem in its recent updates.
