OCCI creates shelters for street vendors in Al Dhahirah

Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in Al Dhahirah Governorate has created shelters for street vendors and owners of traditional crafts stalls.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The branch of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Al Dhahirah Governorate is implementing an initiative to create shelters for street vendors and owners of traditional craft stores in the wilayats of Yanqul and Dhank."

Saif bin Said Al Badi, member of the Board of Directors of  Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and head of the Chamber’s branch in Al Dhahirah Governorate said, "Shelters provide a healthy and organised environment away from open skies and include stands and places to display products and consumables."
