Muscat: Abdullah bin Saud Al Anzi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Sultanate of Oman, reaffirmed that the visit of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will boost the deep-rooted distinct relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ambassador described the relation between the two countries as historic as it expands the bilateral relations to wider horizons. He said in a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA) that the visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and His Majesty’s meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, represented a qualitative shift in the bilateral relations, established by late Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur, following his first visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has proceeded with the same method of further cementing the bilateral relations and ties, he added. The visit would make a qualitative shift and would mark a new and prosperous beginning, which would reflect in aspirations of the peoples of the two countries, he said, adding that the visit would further enhance cooperation in the various spheres within the visions of the two countries; Oman Vision 2040 and the Saudi Vision 2030.
