Fishermen caught without licence in Muscat

Muscat: The fisheries control team in the Governorate of Muscat found a number of violations by fishermen.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said in a statement: "The fisheries control team in Muscat Governorate managed today to detect violations related to the use of hedge nets equipped with rings without a licence in the Wilayat of Seeb."

Work is underway to complete the legal procedures against the fishermen and the nets used were seized.
