As part of the banks celebrations of the 51st National Day, Alizz Islamic Bank conducted a special draw for holders of the Bushra Prize Savings account. With total prize money of OMR 25,500 distributed among 51 Bushra Prize Savings account holders from various branches located across the governorates of the Sultanate whereby, 51 customers won OMR 500 each.
Alizz Islamic Bank organised a number of activities to mark the glorious occasion of National Day celebrated every year on November 18th and held a draw ceremony at the bank’s head office in CBD in a festive ceremony that was held in the presence of Sulaiman Al Harthi, Chief Executive Officer, Alizz Islamic Bank and members of the bank’s senior management.
This year the Bushra Prize Savings Account was designed to match changes in expectation and consumer behavior. Bushra in 2021 is bigger and better, with an increase in the Bushra prizes from ‘OMR 1.85 million’ to ‘OMR 2 million’. It also recorded a significant jump in the number of winners to 3,692 winners.
Alizz Islamic Bank is constantly working to ensure its products and services are structured to suit the expectations and requirements of its clients. In the past few years, the bank has received a number of requests and suggestions from clients to double the Bushra account prizes. One of the requests was to make dedicated draws for men and women. Providing equal opportunities for both genders Bushra Prizes Savings Account 2021 conducts monthly draws for both female and male customers with one winner from each gender each month and from each branch with each winner winning OMR 500.
The Bank has also introduced a special draw for its Tharwa Customers in June and December where three lucky winners will get 10,000 OMR each.
This is in addition to daily draws of OMR 100 for 10 customers, weekly draws of 500 OMR for 10 customers and monthly draws of OMR25,000 for 3 customers alongside quarterly draws of 50,000 OMR for 3 winners ensuring that everyone has a chance to win.
Winning a large sum of money can be a life-changing event. This year, there will be 2 lucky winners that will experience this life changing journey with mega draws that will be conducted, where one lucky winner winning OMR 100,000 in the half yearly draw and one winner of OMR 150,000 in the Grand draw that will held in January 2022.
To be eligible for any of these draws, customers need to open a Bushra Prize Savings account with Alizz Bank and maintain a balance of just 100 OMR in their account. The Bushra Prize Savings account is the first Shari’a Complaint Prize Savings account in the Sultanate that is based on the principle of Mudharaba, all the prizes are Hiba from the shareholders’ funds.
