HM's visit to open many vistas for cooperation: Qatar envoy

Muscat: Sheikh Jassim Abdulrahman Al Thani, Ambassador of Qatar to the Sultanate of Oman, has affirmed that the state visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to Qatar on Monday and His Majesty's meeting with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar reflect the strong relations binding the two countries at all levels.

The Ambassador told Oman News Agency (ONA) that this visit will pave the way for a new stage to meet aspirations of the two people. The visit, he said, will open vistas for many visions and projects that contribute to promoting the political, economic and cultural relations.

The ambassador explained that this visit is a historic one as it the second external visit for His Majesty the Sultan since assuming power in January 2020. The visit is set to bring the two countries closer as it will open wider horizons for future cooperation, he said.
