Earthquake in South Iran recorded by EMC

Muscat: An earthquake has been recorded in Southern Iran, with a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale. 

A statement issued online by the Earthquake Monitoring Centre said: "An earthquake in Southern Iran with a magnitude of 5, at 8:10 pm MCT and at a depth of 10 km has been recorded. The earthquake was recorded 145 km away from Khasab."
